Notice of Six Departments on Organizing the Recommendation of National Green Data Centers in 2022

To implement the Plan for Green Development of Industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period (GXBG [2021] No. 178), the Action Plan for Industrial Energy Efficiency Improvement (GXBLJ [2022] No. 76), the Action Plan for the Green and Low-Carbon Development of ICT Industry (2022-2025) (GXBLTX [2022] No. 103), the Plan for Implementing the Target Requirements for Peaking Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Carbon Neutrality and Promoting the Green and High Quality Development of New Infrastructure including Data Center and 5G (FGGJ [2021] No. 1742) and accelerate the energy efficiency improvement and green and low-carbon development of data centers, six departments organized the recommendation of national green data centers in 2022. It is to select a number of data centers with high energy efficiency, green and low-carbon, reasonable layout, advanced technology, perfect management and strong representativeness for recommendation in key application fields of data centers such as production and manufacturing, telecommunications, the internet, public institutions, energy, finance and e-commerce.

Notice on the Work Plan for Carrying out the Pilot Program for the Reform of Science and Technology Talent Evaluation Issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology and other Eight Departments

To thoroughly implement the important deployment of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee on improving the scientific and technological talent evaluation system and the spirit of the central conference on talent-related work, the work plan for carrying out the pilot program for the reform of science and technology talent evaluation was formulated under the arrangement of the Central Commission for Comprehensively Deepening Reform on carrying out the pilot program for the reform of the evaluation of science and technology talents in response to such outstanding problems as the lack of new standards after abandoning the four stereotyped standards of papers, ranks, degrees and awards, the lack of innovation in evaluation methods, the lack of reform in the evaluation of resource allocation, and the lack of construction of the evaluation system by the employer.
